Poppies pledge to ban hooligansHOOLIGANS who caused a disturbance at a football match have been warned they will be banned for life. Fighting broke out between rival supporters at last night's match between Kettering Town and Nuneaton Borough. Kettering Town club secretary Graham Starmer said: "The people who did this are not welcome here. "We regret it happened and we will do everything we can to find them and ban them." It is believed the incident broke out when Kettering supporters entered the area at the Rockingham Road end of the ground, in which the Nuneaton fans were watching the game. Mr Starmer said the people who caused the disturbance gave genuine Kettering fans a bad name. He said: "We haven't had any problems here for years, but it only takes one group. "We don't want these people here. Once we pinpoint them we will make sure they are not let into the ground again. We have stewards at each game." "We have CCTV cameras around the ground and we will be studying it." A police spokesman said: "There was a disturbance, which spilled outside and a bus was damaged." Officers attended the incident but police said this morning they were unable to confirm whether any arrests were made.

a midst all threats and violence talk on various forums i can now confirm that this game will be segregated, this is sad news as the thug element going around have won, reasons for segregation are....
1, violence talk in various chatrooms,
2, this is the last game at manor park and there is expected to be a huge number of supporters from both clubs,
thought i would keep everyone updated munchy
